This lecture previews IMPROV CUBED, a program featuring Mehmari alongside classical pianist Tanya Gabrielian and jazz pianist Chris Pattishall in a musical journey spanning 300 years that recreates the rich and hidden history of improv with variations on works of Bach, Scarlatti, Schubert, Ragtime, Choro, and the Great American Songbook.
