Tracing the lineage of jazz guitar, this program spotlights six major figures of the genre: Eddie Lang, Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, Django Reinhardt, The Modern Big Three (Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, and John Scofield), and Toninho Horta, with performances of pieces composed, influenced and inspired by these innovators as well as new original works. Featured in this rare duo guitar setting, Alex Wintz and Gabe Schnider are joined by rising star songstress Martina DaSilva.
Co-presented with the Catskill Jazz Factory in part with this year's 23Arts Summer Music & Jazz Festival in Tannersville, NY.
