About The Human Hands: The Human Hands is a collective of virtuosic acoustic musicians from Brooklyn, NY. Spontaneously combining bluegrass, gypsy jazz, and Americana, you can find The Human Hands conjuring up mind-bending live performances in New York City most nights of the week.
The Human Hands features Roy Williams (guitar, vocals), Phoebe Hunt (fiddle, vocals), Eddie Barbash (saxophone), Dominick Leslie (mandolin) and Dave Speranza (bass). The Human Hands is led by jazz pianist turned folk musician Sam Reider on accordion and vocals. The San Francisco Chronicle describes Reider: “He’s got rhythym. And for someone his age, plenty of soul, too.”
