Don't miss Hildegard's first trip to the mountaintop with this twilight event in the Scribner's Catskill Lodge Library lounge with two-story skylight, circular fireplace, billiards table, and stunning few of Hunter Mountain.
Two of New Orleans’ most innovative young musicians, guitarist Cliff Hines and vocalist Sasha Masakowski, front Hildegard. The music blends a diverse array of influences--art rock, EDM, shoegaze, contemporary jazz, classical, world music, and heavy metal--to create a powerful sound that is refreshingly original and highly progressive, fusing complex harmonic and rhythmic structures and catchy pop melodies that echo other contemporary artists like St. Vincent and Thom Yorke.
“A harmonious blend of prog rock, art-pop and progressive jazz, seamlessly welded together, mixed up and stacked.” Progpraat Dutch Review

About Hildegard:
Hildegard is a venturous collaboration between two of the leading voices on the New Orleans progressive music scene, vocalist Sasha Masakowski and guitarist Cliff Hines. Together the two have created genre-defying original music that seamlessly fuses progressive-rock and art-pop with contemporary jazz. Compositions are dynamic and compelling, Sasha's airy vocals singing catchy melodies with bold lyrics over a bed of lush harmonic and rhythmic structures while Cliff's wild guitar sounds conjure otherworldly spirits. The band also features guitarist John Maestas, bassist Max Moran, and drummer G Maxwell Zemanovic. They have toured throughout the United States, performing in notable venues including The Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.), The Royal Room (Seattle), The Mint (Los Angeles), Martyrs' (Chicago), The Boom Boom Room (San Fransisco), Cervantes and Quixotes (Denver), Sundance Film Festival (Park City), South By Southwest (Austin), and Harvard University (Cambridge).
