Artist-in-Residence Kinderszenen Art & Music Project [March 2015]
23Arts artist-in-residence Tanya Gabrielian collaborated with the music and art departments at Hunter-Tannersville Central Elementary for a creative Schumann-inspired showcase of live classical music and student artwork.
On March 2, 2015, Gabrielian led a workshop in which she performed the different movements of Robert Schumann's famous work Kinderszenen to serve as inspiration for students to create original works of art.
On March 10, the artwork was projected during a live performance of Kinderszenen to an audience of students and families at the school's annual Art & Music Showcase.
